ChordSmith Preferences Menu Not Showing Empty ChordSmith Preferences Menu Not Showing

Just a headsup for you Mac users.

I recently installed ChordSmith on my MacBook and found that the Preferences Menu wasn't showing up.

After a LOT of back and forth and with the huge help of John, the mastermind behind ChordSmith and the proprietor of this forum, it was found that the problem was I was running Java version 10 on my Mac. After uninstalling version 10 and installing version 8 everything is working as it should.

I believe Java was updated automatically to version 10 because automatic updates was turned on in Java preferences.
