Java not working Windows 11 Empty Java not working Windows 11

When I initially installed JRE and Chordsmith, double clicking the Chordsmith JAR file cause nothing to happen.

I did a fair amount of research and found that a BAT file executing [java -jar ChordSmith_INTL.jar] does work, although it leaves the command window open during the session.

My question is; do you know of a cleaner/better way to resolve this problem?
